Winter Breakfast

I know I have been feeling the cold lately and nothing warms me up like a big bowl of nourishing porridge. This recipe is loaded with nutrients, including protein and fibre to keep you fuller for longer. I love the flavour combination of chocolate, peanut butter and blueberries; and I love how good this porridge is for digestive health.


25g Oat Bran

25g Oats

250ml Oat/Rice Milk (or other milk of choice)

50g Blueberries

2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter

2 Teaspoons Flaxseeds

1x scoop Nuzest Chocolate Clean Lean Protein

1 Teaspoon Cocoa

2 Teaspoons Xylitol

Pinch Salt


Mixed seeds combination (flaxseed, black sesame seed, white sesame seed, hulled buckwheat, chia seeds, cacao nib)

Basil Seeds

Put the oats and oat bran in a pot, add boiling water (enough to cover) and simmer on the stove to cook. Blend the remaining ingredients together and add to the cooked oats. Allow the mixture to heat through (don’t let it boil away, just a gentle heat). Serve with the mixed seeds and basil seeds as a topping.
